Low carb desserts are great and all, but that's not the whole story. Get some low carb desserts in effect, but work out, too.

Some great low carb desserts

Well you could eat a bowl of fruit instead of chocolate cake. That is better for you in so many respects. Basically low carb desserts or any foods that are low in carbohydrates have lots of benefits. Empty carbs are just going to pack on the pounds and not do anything for you that serves a real purpose. What you need to do is fixate on eating a nice, healthy diet now and down the line. Working out and at least getting some good walking in on a day to day basis does just as much good as low carb desserts. So remember that just because a diet promises to be easy and deliver fast results, does not mean that it has much long-term viability. Let's be at least a little realistic here. Don't be deceived by all the "low carb gurus" out there that think they know what's up. The FDA has no actual definition for low carb food. So what are you really being sold?

That is just plain dumb. To ban all carbohydrate-rich foods from your life is just nuts. You need energy to burn, and things like vegetables, whole grains, pasta and brown rice are tremendous sources of the nutrients you need. Then maybe top that off with some low carb desserts if that is what you are into. But don't think that this quick fix is going to transform your life because it simply will not. The only way you are going to be healthier for longer is if you work out, diet regularly, and eat smart.

If that means low carb desserts, great. If it means exercise and eating everything in moderation, even better.
