Carbohydrate Diet

As we all hear day in and day out, Americans just keep getting, well how can we put this delicately, oh yeah, we can't. We are getting FATTER! Almost 65% of Americans are over weight and only about 38% of them are doing anything to attempt to lose the weight. And of those who are trying to take care of their weight problem, it won't come as a surprise to many of us, that they are doing it through a low carbohydrate diet. So why are many still struggling to meet their weight-loss goals? Probably because dieting should not be done alone, but should be combined with an exercise regiment.

We need to get off the couch!

It does seem that a low carbohydrate diet is working for many Americans who are sticking to it and following through. But, there are simply too many of us who rely solely on a diet to lose the weight and get our bodies to your ideal. But, that ideal body cannot be achieved if all we do is cut a few carbs and some calories with a low carbohydrate diet . It is also extremely important to get enough exercise on a weekly basis. According to the National Health Interview Survey, 55% of people who said that they were trying to lose weight were using exercise to accomplish that goal. That leaves 45% of people who are trying to lose weight that do not exercise with any regularity. Among the group of exercisers, another 43% do not meet the National Institutes of Health minimum recommendation for weight loss, which should be about 150 minutes or more or exercise each week.

All experts will tell you that if you want to ensure your weight loss success don't rely only on a low carbohydrate diet , you need to include exercise in your routine. This will add to your overall health, well-being, and new more sleek look. Combine the low carbohydrate diet with a workout a few times a week.
