We can eat all the low carb food we want, but this is not going to make us healthier. We all need to combine our low carb diet with some good old-fashioned exercise. There is no getting around this, people! We need to get off of our couches and start moving around a little. Keeping your carbs low and adhering to one of the many popular low carb diets will only get you so far. The only ay to ensure a healthy body is to get out there, find some exercises that you enjoy doing, and making them a part of your daily life. Reach your weight loss goal with the help of a low carb diet, but KEEP it off with the help of regular exercise!
And what are the benefits of a diet that concentrates on all things low carbs? Surely these diets have been effective in helping people lose weight, but a great many of them are gaining it all back later. More of us need also to think in terms of lifestyle changes instead of temporary quick fixes that do nothing in the long run. It is also important to keep in mind that there is very little information about the long term effects of a low carb diet. So you should find out as many of the facts as you can and make a decision that is not based on the hype. And once on it, remember that you needn't buy all kinds of books to find low carb recipes as there are also a lot of free resources.
